Six Rennes research and teaching projects submitted by the University of Rennes 1, INSA Rennes and Inserm were selected in 2021 among the first French chairs for junior professors. The winners will soon join the research teams of ISCR, IETR, Irmar, Geosciences Rennes, Institut FOTON and Irset. The partners thus inaugurate the system offered by the research programming law to strengthen their presence and their international attractiveness around major scientific axes on which Rennes research is already recognized.
As Frédéric Delaleu, Inserm Grand Ouest regional delegate points out, "this approach is clearly in line with the development of our site policy in Rennes. We are thus holding one of our first junior professorships because the theme of the links between health and environment is internationally recognized there. And we are further consolidating Inserm's scientific excellence in this field."
